
Iman Childs is a travel advisor and video editor.
A New York native, Iman is an alumna of Northwestern University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Film. Her senior thesis film, In Plain Sight, was screened at three film festivals in New York City. As an undergrad she founded Northwestern’s Multicultural Filmmakers Collective.
A 2014-2015 Fulbright grantee, Iman filmed a documentary on African immigrants in Rome and their integration into Italian society. After completing a year-long fellowship as the Digital Media Fellow at Playwrights Horizons, an Off-Broadway theater company, she returned to Playwrights as a Producer & Editor.
As a Video Producer and Editor at Citi, she filmed and edited videos for various internal projects including product tutorials, special event montages and replays of high-profile meetings and events. Highlights include a 3-part series on employees with disabilities and the bank’s accessible technology; a promo highlighting the bank’s tech bar services; and a step-by-step tutorial on using Citistream, the bank’s video media platform.
She is currently a freelance Video Editor.
