Iman Childs is an emerging arts administrator and content creator with a background in video production and writing. She is passionate about socially conscious films and television shows that work to connect cultures.

A New York native, Iman is an alumna of Northwestern University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Film. Her senior thesis film, In Plain Sight, was screened at three film festivals in New York City. As an undergrad she founded Northwestern’s Multicultural Filmmakers Collective.

A 2014-2015 Fulbright grantee, Iman filmed a documentary on African immigrants in Rome and their integration into Italian society. After completing a year-long fellowship as the Digital Media Fellow at Playwrights Horizons, an Off-Broadway theater company, she returned to Playwrights as a Producer & Editor.

She is currently a freelance Video Editor.
